The Academic Center of Excellence is
a tutoring center for students at all academic levels. Since 1994 we specialize
in writing, reading, math (from the basics through calculus), and SAT
preparation. ACE uses the most advanced curriculum in tutoring combined
with an engaged learning environment. ACE teachers strive to pinpoint
problems and track required skills to correct them.
The elementary and junior high classes are comprised of nine
students or less to enable active participation and effective learning.
This class size creates an ideal setting for both individualized
instruction and cooperative learning. Because the teacher can give
individual attention, students are continuously aware of their
progress. The small class size allows peers to share their common goals
for academic excellence. Students acquire positive habits and views on
learning from each other. Self-esteem and confidence are constantly
built at A.C.E. Therefore students
realize that they are capable of achievement and demonstrate their
knowledge.
The mission of Academic Center of Excellence is to bring each
