After School | Private Session
Academic Center of Excellence is a licensed facility.
Tuition
The school year's tuition is divided into 10 months sessions. No deductions or refunds are
made for absences or holidays. Tuition is paid monthly. Tuition must be received in full
by the 25th of every month for the following month. If the 25th of the month falls on a
weekend or holiday, the tuition is due the following day of school. If the tuition is not
paid by that date, a $20.00 charge will be applied. If payment is not paid by the 15th of
the month, the parent will be asked not to bring the child to school the following day.
Once balance is paid in full the student will be allowed to return, as long as space
availability permits.
Enrollment fees and book fees are non-refundable.
Sign in and Sign Out
A parent or guardian must sign out daily if the child leaves after 6:30 p.m. If the child
is picked up after 6:30, late fee of $25/day will apply.
Illness
Children who show evidence of being ill at school will be
isolated until the parent can return for them. An ill child must be picked up within sixty
minutes of parent's notification. A child sent home with a high fever or stomach flu may
not return to school the next day. There must be a 24-hour recovery period. The school
reserves the right to refuse admittance to children who do appear to be fully recovered.
Please note: The office needs to be notified of the child's absence.
Medication
Only prescription medication will be administered to the child by school staff.
Deposit
There will be a required deposit of $100 when enrolled. The deposit will
be applied to the last month or kept as a security deposit for the following session.
Withdrawal Procedures
If a child must be withdrawn, notification is requested at least 1-month before the
withdrawal date. Without 1-month advance notice, we will keep your deposit. We
reserve the right to terminate any student's enrollment at any time for any reason. Unused
tuition will be refunded in such a case.
Pick -Up Policy
If the student is not present at the pick-up site at the designated time (immediately
after the end of school), ACE will attempt to contact parent(s) and ACE will not be
responsible for pick-up.
